Module 1: My Blog Theme

Ahhh, the first blog post entitled Week1: My Blog Theme. In reality, I must admit that I really wanted to call it "An Exercise in Protraction!" Snarky much, Ginger? Upon using my Gmail to access Blogger, I came to realize that I had already created an account in 2008. I had given myself the name "Introspective Diva," because, well...that's what you do when you're in your late thirties and write your first blog post about the financial recession debacle, right? 🤣 Now for the assignment There isn't anything profound about why I chose the theme that I did. If I had taken more time and infused the blog with sprinklings of my personality and the goal of this ongoing assignment, I may have arrived at a very different aesthetic. However, I tried to keep it relatively simple, yet true to my nature, with some customizations that represent some of my current preferences for color and style. Module 2: Positive Comments

Okay, Okay...I actually did some reviews. I usually do not do these, but since I was compelled by the assignment, I gave in. I wrote three reviews as follows: Junmai ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My husband & I ended up here by mistake, but what a wonderful mistake it was. Food is excellent, as is their SUPER friendly service. We loved it so much, we went 2x in < 2 weeks. My favorite is the Mamba Roll & Oysters on the 1/2 shell...yum!! Frazier Farms ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I love that this little store offers so many organic foods, has friendly/helpful staff, and gives a military discount. I feel so lucky that it is my neighborhood store! Dr. Pearcy, OD ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My immediate & extended family have been going to Dr. Pearcy for > 15 yrs. He is so knowledgeable, kind, and attentive. He truly embodies what it means to exemplify professionalism in healthcare. His demeanor and dedication are those of an "old-fashioned" modern-day doctor. We are SO thankful and appreciative of his care. This r...

Module 2: Business & Consumers: Communication and Reviews

The evolution of business communication can be likened to letting the bird out of the cage...a seemingly easy expanse in expression, reachability, and a rabbit hole of gleaming goodness and grand gestures seeking equilibrium due to the grappling with public grievances. It's a whole new world! Perhaps on the surface, the appeal is inexpensive access and the perception of ease; however, there exists a juxtaposition whereby the canary in the coal mine just might be the real bird never to take flight! What do I mean by this? Well, in times past, the primary method of communicating with businesses was one that fostered relationships. Business owners and employees needed to be present physically, mentally, and emotionally. While some may view this as exhaustively taxing, the human connection, such as looking people in the eyes, shaking hands, reading body language, having conversations that required considerate dialogue, and even the poten...
